U.S. Serbian Orthodox leader dies
From Beacon Journal wire services Metropolitan Christopher, the leader of the Serbian Orthodox Church in the United States and Canada and the first U.S.-born bishop to serve the church in North America, died Aug. 18 in Libertyville, Ill., shortly after being diagnosed with brain and bone cancer.
